The BPI, lemontank & Blackstar Agency teamed up to survey 500 UK-based 18-25 year olds about their music discovery and consumption habits.

  • Respondents were sourced from the research panel Prolific, the lemontank pool of young creatives, and grassroots UK music organisations including Small Green Shoots, Future Yard, Musical Keys, Saving Grace & Operasonic.

  • The participants answered using voice notes and written answers via the AI survey platform Tellet, in April 2025.
